A copy of the invitation letter must be presented when applying for a visa independentely of a fax being sent to the Consular Section.

Copy of last Industrial Tax receipt
Copy of registration of the Company
Company Letter
Itinerary (Air Line Company or Travel Agent).
THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO ALL APPLICANTS
For those traveling on a private visit/holidays a bank statement and a letter from employer is required.
EEC citizens are required to present proof of UK residence (Tenancy agreement, Council Tax or Water bill)
Non-British citizens are required to prove their legal status (british Work visa , student visa, residence visa)
Traveling children are required to present full birth certificate (authenticated by the respective body). British children must have their birth certificate authenticated by Foreign Office (Legalisation department)
This visa can take less or longer than usual to be issued.
Applicant sometimes may be asked for an interview
Additional documents may be required.
