Angola
territory is approximately 1,246,700 square
kilometres, including enclave of Cabinda.
The
topography has a coastal lowland along Atlantic
with the Namibian desert spreading to the
south of Benguela. Hills and mountains paralleling
coast rise to high plateau in east, divided
by many rivers and streams. Much of Cabinda
province is coastal plain and hills.
The
climate is hotter and drier along coast than
in mountains and plateau. Rainy season in
northern part of country happen from September
to April and in southern part from November
to about February. Coolest months July and
August. Warm and wet in Cabinda Province. |
